- Arcata Associates, Inc (Arcata/UNITeS); in support of the Unified NASA Information Technology Services (UNITeS) Prime Contract, intends to negotiate only, on a sole source emergency basis, with Granta Design to acquire various OEM Material Intelligence (MI) licensed products and sustaining software maintenance support plus acquire continuing membership rights to the Material Data Management Csonsortium (MDMC) for the inital year of Phase Two (a 3 year project cycle). The items required under this modification are listed in the attached RFQ (WORD document) and requires the delivery of media or rights of download of the software licensing on or before 15 August 2005. Arcata Associates, Inc. intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation as proposals are being requested per the attached Request for Quotation (RFQ) which is located in the attached Word file, along with an Offeror Representations & Certifications (Certs) form, all of which are deemed to be the solicitation package. Interested firms have until 5 August 2005, 12:00 PM CDST to submit in writing to the identified point of contact a response to the RFQ and all associated paper work per the special instructions. Responses received after the 5 August 2005 cutoff without the required information will be considered non responsive to the synopsis/solicitation and will not be considered. A determination by Arcata/UNITeS to not compete this proposed effort on a full and open competitive basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of Arcata Associates, Inc It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this Internet site for the release of any amendments, and clarifying questions and answers.
