- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Seal Beach intends to acquire on a sole source basis for 2 ea services for Retrofit of Codar-SeaSonde HF Radar Ocean Current Monitoring System to include Global Positioning System,(GPS), Codar Ocean Sensors, Portola Valley, CA. Retrofit based timing is required to allow multiple SeaSonde units to operate on the same radio frequency,ability to achieve require range due, proprietary transmit pulse technology, implementation of MUSIC direction finding with a coastal HF radar system. Oral RFQ via Simplified Acquisitions Procedures will be utilized. Anticipated award date on or before 10 August 2005.
