- Description
- The Fleet & Industrual Supply Center, Seal Beach intends to procure 2 ea Vanguard MK2 ROV Standard Package. Package includes Command & Control Station Track Guard Kit, 500Ft (150m) Wire Tether and Wireless RF System Model VMK200200. Sole Source to Allen Vanguard, Reston, VA due to Allen Vanguard ability to provide robot that can reduce or eliminate the time of danger for a bomb technician saftey during inspecion, x-ray and disrupt of an explosive device. Robots ability to pick up objects weighing over 35lbs, functional range 300 to 450 yard from operator, operation hours 8 to 13 hours a month, normal operation temperatures btween -40 and 120 degrees F; 2 to 4.5 horus using an internal power source, speed objective od 1.5 to 3 miles per hour,and weighs 130 lbs. Oral RFQ via Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized Anticipated awrd date on or before 09August 2005.
