- This procurement is advertised as a 100% HUBZONE-SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The U. S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans, has a requirement for Professional Services for Environmental and Other Related Services. The Corps intends to award a Firm-Fi xed Price, Indefinite Delivery Requirements contract (FAR 16.503) as a result of this solicitation. The term of the contract will be one (1) year with options for two (2) more years or until the maximum contract amount is expended. This is a Best Value p rocurement process. The award decision will be based on an integrated assessment of the evaluation results as a whole. Requests for Proposal will be issued on or about 5 August 2005. Interested parties shall obtain a copy of the solicitation by downloa ding it from the WEB at: www.mvn.usace.army.mil. YOU WILL ALSO BE REQUIRED TO REGISTER AS A PLANHOLDER TO SHOW THAT YOU HAVE DOWNLOADED THE PACKAGE. THIS WILL ALLOW US TO NOTIFY INTERESTED PARTIES IN THE EVENT AN AMENDMENT IS ISSUED. EFFECTIVE 01/01/05, ALL CONTRACTORS WHO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL ARE REQUIRED TO REGISTER IN THE ONLINE REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS APPLICATION (ORCA).
