- Description
- Refuse Collection Services for Tooele Army Depot and Deseret Chemical Depot. The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, and equipment needed to fully manage and perform all operations for the collection and transportation of refuse and medica l waste. The contractor shall transport all refuse collected to the Utah State approved solid waste disposal facility under contract with Tooele Army Depot (TEAD). Contractor shall locate a facility for proper disposal of Medical Waste. AFSC intends to issue Request for Quote, W52P1J-05-Q-3027 approximately 12 Aug 2005. This contract will be unrestricted under NAICS 562199 with $10.5M as the small business classification. The Government intends to award a requirements type contract with firm fixed pric ing. This service will cover a 1 year base period with four 1 year option periods. The RFQ will be posted to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business website: http://acquisition. Army.mil on or about 12 Aug 2005 and open 15 days from issuance. All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (D0D) must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR) and ORCA. If you are not registered in CCR, you cannot be awarded a DOD Contract. You may register via the Internet at: http://www.ccr.gov. Interested firms are invited to submit Proposals after this solicitation is posted to the web.
