Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Parts 12.6 and 13, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes ar e being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined synopsis and Request number is: SFAECS-0-0-1205. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-27, effective 01 Jan 2005. This acquisition is set aside for small business. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 334310, Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing. Basis for Award  Award shall be made to the responsible offeror having the lowest price and meeting all the requirements. Offerors meeting only some of the requirements will not be considered.The United States Army Tank and Automotive Command, in Warren , Michigan has a requirement for: An audio-visual purchase for three (3) Product Managers' Team Rooms in the front office of BLD 229, 4th floor. The purchase is to be all-inclusive for the installation of VTC capability in the three Team Rooms: including Smart Boards with projectors, all wiring and hardware associated with this work, along with the equipment to run the system. The previous wiring left in the rooms can be reused and reconfigured. All Smart Boards will be located on the South side of the Team Rooms, and all wiring will be placed in the North side of the Team Rooms behind the credenzas. The scope in this quote will include all the hardware, labor for installation, and Engineering /Design costs. All three Team Rooms will be fully functional after work is complete. A site vi sit will be conducted at 9:00 A.M., EDT, on 03 AUG 05 for all interested offerors at U.S Army Tank and Automotive Command (Detroit Arsenal) for the purpose of answering questions regarding this solicitation and to view the rooms. Reservations for the site visit are MANDATORY. Interested offerors should send reservation requests including the company name and names of the individuals and their citizenship that will participate in the tour. Submit the names of all attendees to Ms. Mary Pasqual at mary.pas qual@us.army.mil by 12 p.m. on 02 Aug 05. This information must be provided in advance in order to ensure access to the military base. Participants will meet at  U.S. Army Tank and Automotive Command (Detroit Arsenal) Building #231, 1st Floor lobby (south side of the building) U.S. Army Tank and Automotive Command Warren, Michigan Directions can be found at http://www.tacom.army.mil/main/warren.html Submittal Instructions: The quotation shall be submitted electronically to: mary.pasqual@us.army.mil. Quotations shall all be in English (American Standard) language and denominated in U.S. dollars. FOB Destination is the only accepted shipping option. Quotation shall include shipping and delivery schedule. TACOM intends to award a fixed price contract. TACOM reserves the right to seek clarification on any aspect of your quotation. This acquisition is unrated under the Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS). Quotations must be received by TACOM no later than 12: 00 p.m. on 08 Aug 05.
