Description

The Special Operations Directorate of the US Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) proposes to procure three Breeze-Eastern Hydraulically-actuated externally mounted rescue hoist assemblies for delivery within six months. This assembly is the on ly hoist currently qualified for use on the Special Operations Aircraft fleet and is intended to be installed on the MH-60L. Market research has indicated that one manufacturer can meet this requirement. This will be a sole source procurement to Breeze E astern, 700 Liberty Avenue, Union NJ 07083-8198. The authority to use other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A single firm fixed price (FFP) con tract is anticipated. This procurement will be solicited, evaluated, and awarded using FAR Part 12 procedures. This requirement is classified under NAICS code 336413 Aircraft Auxiliary parts manufacturing. Offerors who have requested a copy of the RFP will be notified by email once it is released. All responsible sources may submit a proposal t hat shall be considered by the Government.
