Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals a re being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. W91248-05-Q-0152 is issued as a Request for Quotations. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Cir cular 2005-04. This acquisition is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System code applicable to this acquisition is 335312. The small business size standard is 1,000 employees. Items Required: 60KVA Hobart ground power unit with 28. 5 volt DC option (with a Cummins B3.9 diesel engine) (8 each), model number 60CU24PTR, part number 500060B-005, or equal; 30 AC cable, 60 KVA (8 each), part number 402034-2, or equal; 30 DC cable (8 each), part number 402025-3, or equal; Spotlight, Cummi ns 60CU (8 each), part number 287061 or equal; Beacon, low fuel light 60 CU(8 each) part number 287062-016 or equal; Fork Lift Pockets, 60CU (8 each) part number 288405 or equal; Tie Down Rings 60CU (8 each) part number 284706 or equal; special paint color Sherman Williams Code 383, Waterborn CARC Green/Army Green (8 each) part number SPC-1 or equal. Offeror must indicate the maximum time required to effect delivery. Offered products must include the following salient characteristics: 1. Supply the required power on both AC/DC for the CH-47, AH-64D, UH-60 A&L, and OH-58D helicopters. 2. Stainless steel fuel cell. 3. Turbo-Charged diesel engine able to run on jet-fuel, jet-a, jp8 or jp5 with delayed shutdown capability to cool turbo in desert environment. 4. Emergency power shutdown. 5. Trailer with 5 tire in front of trailer for ease and safety of movement around all aircraft. Prices quoted shall be F.O.B. Destination prices. Supplies will be shipped to Fort Campbell, KY. The Government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price order resulting from this solicitation. FAR Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercia l Items, applies to this acquisition; Paragraphs (b)(10), (d), (e) and (h) are deleted. FAR Provision 52.212-2, EvaluationCommercial Items, is applicable; Technical (Offered products having all salient characteristics) and Price are the evaluation criteri a in Paragraph A. Technical capability is slightly more important than price. The Government intends to make a single award to the lowest responsive, responsible offeror whose quotation conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the gover nment considering price and non-price related factors. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 ALT I, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, with their quotations. FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Term s and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The offeror shall indicate manufacturer part numbers quoted and supply descriptive literature t hat will be used in evaluation of offers. Offeror shall provide the DUNS Number, Cage Code and Federal Tax-ID number along with their quotation. All offerors must be CCR Registered in accordance with DFARS Provision 252.204-7004. Offers are due no later t han 4:00 P.M. 5 August 2005. All responsible concerns may submit an offer which will be considered by the agency.
