Description
Medical Positions: Independent Contractors for Personnal Service Contracts for FY06, several positions available as listed under the contract line items (CLINS) below. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitaiton; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issed. Requirement reference number : FA5587-MEDICAL is issued as a request for offers, utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13. You may bid on individual line items, or on all as a company (Note: There are nine med tech positions.) The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 622110. This acquisition is unrestricted. Under new FAR Guidance and in order to receive this award you must be registered in the Central Contractor?s Regristration data base at http://www.ccr.gov. Funds are not currently available, but are anticipated. The contractor shall provide Healthcare services ? As identified under the CLINS listed below, which are required for Government beneficiaries as listed in the Statement of Work (SOW). Due to the size of the documents a copy of the Statement of Work may be obtained by email. Please contact Ann Robinson at http://ann.robinson@lakenheath.af.mil The performance period is from 1 October 2005 to 30 September 2006, and are considered either full time or part time as indicated below. The selected applicants will work between the hours of 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday or as otherwise indicated on the individual statement of work. The U.S. Government will enter into negotiations with the offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and provides the best overall qualifications, meaning: those applicants or resume?s meeting the criteria for education, liscencing and past performance, will be of greater value or ?best value? to the government over price, as indicated in each of the Statement of Work. Resume?s will be evaluated by the RAF Lakenheath, 48th Medical Facility, and ranked in order of qualifications, IAW DFARS Part 237 (FAR Part 6 does not apply to Contracting; therefore, the hospital will make the selections.)
