- Description
- The 11th Contracting Squadron intends to solicit for a newly identified contract requirement for automotive body repair and paint services for cars, pickup trucks, tractors and trailers. The contractor shall provide all paint and materials to provide quality paint services; repair minor dents with minimal use of body filler and repair cracks or breaks with fiberglass and rosin to restore the paint to ?factory-like? condition; use appropriate sealer or rust inhibitor to minimize corrosion; prime before painting and sand surfaces as necessary to provide a quality finish. The contractor shall be located in the Washinton DC area since the Government will transport the vehicles to the contractor?s location for painting and/or repair. The contractor shall take measures to prevent loss, pilferage and/or damage to Government vehicles by providing a safe and secure area to store the vehicles while in their possession. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 423210 (SIC 7532) with a size standard of $6.0 Million. All notices and any/all amendments will be posted and available on this website (www.fedbizopps.gov). The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation either before or after the closing date of the solicitation. The acquisition will accomplished in accordance with FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 ? Simplified Acquisition Procedures. A solicitation will be posted on or about 4 Aug 2005. All prospective offerors interested in submitting proposals must have a Commercial and Governments Entity (CAGE) code and must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 in order to receive award.
