- AMENDMENT 2: Base Custodial Services at Moody AFB, GA. Solicitation number FA4830-05-R0003 will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about 16 Aug 05. The contractor shall provide all management, labor, equipment, tools, supplies and supervision necessary to perform custodial services at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia. The contractor shall ensure that the services identified in the contract are performed in accordance with ?Cleaning Makes Cents: Benchmarks for Managing Your Cleaning Operations? published by Building Owners and Managers Association International (BOMA) copyright 1997. The approximate square footage for basic cleaning is 429,028. The approximate square footage for latrine cleaning is 33,281. Periodic maintenance services for high dusting, low dusting, window cleaning, and floor maintenance (stripping and buffing) are included in this solicitation. This solicitation is set aside only for 100% certified HubZone small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this solicitation is 561720. The small business size standard is $14,000,000. The contract will be for a basic period of nine (9) months with up to four (4) one year options, the total contract will not exceed five (5) years. The tentative date for the site visit is 31 Aug 05. You must pre-register with the point of contact listed below no later than 29 Aug 05 in order to attend the site visit. The solicitation is a competitive RFP award using commercial procedures found in FAR 12. The solicitation will be available to view and download on Electronic Posting System (EPS) site located www.eps.gov. All offerors must be Central Contractor Registered (CCR) and on line representations and certifications application (ORCA) must be activated. ORCA registration requirements may be viewed via the internet at www.bpn.gov. Responses to the solicitation are due on or about 16 Sep 05. No paper copies of this solicitation will be mailed or Fax?s. All amendments will be electronically posted as well. No telephone calls or written requests for this solicitation package will be accepted.
