- The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL intends to award a sole source contract to Infinity Technology Inc., 430 Wynn Drive, Huntsville, AL 35805-1963 to provide Hardware and Software Maintenance and replacement parts for the Unclassified and Classified Document Conversion Systems at the Air Force Historical Research Agency (AFHRA), Maxwell AFB, AL, Authority: 10 U>S>C> 2304 ? (1), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. NAICS Code 811212. The requirement consists of the following: Statement of Work, Document Conversion Systems. The following hardware and software maintenance work is required as it pertains to the Unclassified and Classified Document Conversion Systems located at the Air Force Historical Research Agency, Maxwell AFB, AL for the period 1 Oct 05-3 Sep 06. The maintenance vendor must ensure that the Document Conversion Systems applications software continues to be operational 98% of available time (0630 to 1700 hours, Monday- Friday). The vendor must provide applications software upgrades/changes to ensure that the Document Conversion Systems applications software continues to be operational when changes are made to operational software and hardware (as required by vendors and or Agency Computer Security Manage). The maintenance vendor must ensure that all hardware and operations software continues to be operational 98 percent of availability time (0630-1700 hours). The vendor must ensure that any recommended changes required by the hardware vendor, operations software vendor, and or Agency Computer Security Officer does not affect the Document Conversion Systems software operations. Any vendor representative required to perform maintenance work on-site at the Agency must have a Secret Clearance. This will be a firm-fixed type contract. If there are any interested businesses that can provide the specified service, they must respond to this notice before 22 Aug 2005 at 2:00pm. If no responses are received by the above date, a sole source contract with Infinity Technology Inc. will be pursued.
