- Sources Sought - Seeking Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses and/or Small Businesses to provide services for Gourmet Coffees, Teas, and Various Drink Products. The Department of Veterans Affairs Healthcare Network Upstate New York (VAHNUNY), VISN 2, has a requirement for gourmet coffees, teas, and various drink products which will be provided to multiple locations within the VAHNUNY in Western, Central, and Upstate New York. The facility locations that comprise VISN 2 include but are not limited to: Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse, NY. The contractor shall furnish products, equipment, repair services, support, and vendor performance that assists in the program's ability to provide gourmet coffees, teas, and various drink mixes, meet the highest customer service standards of the industry, and provide ongoing training and support to the participants, while also providing continued guidance and direction to the management of the program. The performance will be from date of award (approximately October 17, 2005) through October 16, 2006, with four (4) option years. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 12 for the acquisition of commercial items. The NAICS Code is 424490 and the size standard is 100 employees. This solicitation package shall be available on or about August 15, 2005. This solicitation will be available through the General Services Administration, Federal Business Opportunities web site; http://fedbizops.gov. This site provides downloading instructions. Response to this announcement shall determine if sufficient competition exists to allow a budled or unrestricted procurement.
