- Description
- The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Carver, Inc., Wabash, IN, under the authority of FAR 13.106(b), Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The object of this requirement is to procure an AuotFour/15-P automatic hydraulic press and Floor Stand. The results of market research has resulted in a determination that Carver, Inc. appears to be the only source for this equipment. The anticipated award date of this order is on or about five (5) days from the date of this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. Interested parties that believe they can satisfy the requirement to provide the noted system may provide evidence to so indicate no later than the response date above. Only authorized business resellers may respond. A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed purchase order is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. For information, call the POC identified below.
