- The United States Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Indiana is seeking a qualified individual/firm for restoration of a failed Wetland in Warren County. Work will consist of levee construction, structure installation, and channel construction. The wetland has been re-surveyed and re-designed. This solicitation is issued on a full and open basis. The Davis Bacon Act Wage Determination IN030006 dated 07/22/2005 will apply. The full text of the above wage determinations may be obtained at www.wdol.gov. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990 and the standard size is $28.5 million. Specifications and drawings will be posted at this website and available for downloading on/about August 12, 2005. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (amendments) shall be made only on the internet. Therefore it is the contractor?s responsibility to check the web address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. Telephone and fax request for paper copies of the specifications and drawings will not be accepted. The site visit and discussions are scheduled to start at 10:00 am local time on Monday, August 15, 2005, at the USDA, NRCS office, 705B State Road 28 E, Williamsport, Indiana 47993. It is anticipated that a Firm Fixed Price contract will be awarded on/or about August 25, 2005. All work to be completed by September 30, 2005. The magnitude of the construction price is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.
