- Description
- The contractor shall provide services for conducting radiological surveys at the DLA/DNSC Binghamton, NY Depot and Somerville, NJ Depot in accordance with the requirements contained in the Multi-Agency Radiation Survey and Site Investigation Manual (MARSSIM) to permit the release of storage depot warehouses for unrestricted use. The surveys include, but not limited to, a historical site assessment (HSA), scoping survey, final Status Survey Plan (FSSP) and a Final Survey Report (FSSR). This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business with NAICS Code 541620 with a small business size of $6 Million. The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed priced contract. This solicitation is issued pursuant authority under FAR 13.5. This subpart authorizes, as a test program, use of simplified acquisition procedures for the acquisition of supplies and services in amounts greater than the simplified acquisition threshold but not exceeding $5 million. To be eligible to receive award from a DoD activity, you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. To register access the CCR homepage at www.ccr.gov. A site visit/pre-proposal meeting will be held at Binghamton, NY and Somerville, NJ Depots. Site visit dates and other specifics will be provided in the solicitation. The solicitation will be posted on FEDBIZOPPS web page (i.e., www.fedbizopps.gov/) on or about August 2, 2005. In accordance with FAR 5.102(D), availability of the solicitation will be limited to this electronic medium only. Requests for other copies of the solicitation will be disregarded without notice to the requestor.
