- ISSUE DATE: 08/11/05. Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary for the replacement of the following three (3) Aids to Navigation (ATON) structures in the Staten Island, New York waterways area. Newark Bay Light #4 The work includes, but is not limited to retrieval and demolition of the existing Newark Bay Light #4. The contractor shall remove and dispose of the aid that has been destroyed by a barge. Construct a three legged concrete pile structure with a concrete platform and standard 5 foot square pipe tower. Light is located at the following: 40? 38?50? North Latitude 074? 08? 56? West Longitude. Great Kills Entrance Light A - The work includes, but is not limited to demolishing the existing three legged timber pile structure and replacing with a three legged concrete pile structure with a concrete platform and standard 5 foot square pipe tower. Light is located at the following: 40? 32?06? North Latitude 074? 08?36? West Longitude. Bergen Point Light #14 ?The work includes, but is not limited to constructing a three legged concrete pile structure with a concrete platform and standard 5 foot square pipe tower. Light is located at the following: 40? 38?34? North Latitude 074? 08?41? West Longitude. Day boards will be provided as government furnished equipment for contractor install and incidental related work. Perform a third order, class 1 geodetic survey of the new structures? positions. The estimated cost range of this project is $250,000 to $500,000. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 8/11/05. The due date for receipt of proposals is scheduled for 9/12/05 at 4:00 pm. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable NAIS code is 237990 and the size standard is $28.5 million. Our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
