Description
The USAF is conducting market research regarding transient alert services to determine whether or not the services can be classed as commercial in nature and if so, the contractual terms and conditions common to such commercial contracts. You can help us with this research by answering the following questions. Any information you provide will be kept entirely confidential and is not for the purpose of “pre-qualifying” contractors. Market research questions: 1. For what non-federal or non-DOD entities does (or has) your company provide(d) transient alert services? Include state, municipal, or other local government entities, as well as non-government entities. If possible, provide a copy of the terms and conditions of the contract, or provide contact information where we can obtain information regarding the terms and conditions. 2. If you are considering competing for this contract, what types of information will facilitate your ability to develop a competitive, fixed-price offer (nature of information and degree/quantity)? What risks would make it difficult for you to develop such an offer? 3. If your company normally provides transient alert services and has decided not to compete for this contract, what constraints within USAF control contributed to the decision? NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (27-JAN-2005). IT ACTUALLY APPEARED OR REAPPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 26-JUL-2005, BUT REAPPEARED IN THE FTP FEED FOR THIS POSTING DATE. PLEASE CONTACT fbo.support@gsa.gov REGARDING THIS ISSUE.
