- Description
- The 11th Contracting Squadron has a requirement for a contractor to repair and provide maintenance on base wide paving projects. This competitive acquisition is for work associated with the project entitled Pavements & Maintenance Repair, Project Number BXUR 05-1009, Bolling AFB, D.C. The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, tools, parts, materials, transportation, supervision and other services necessary to complete all associated work. Work includes but is not limited to providing full depth pavement repair of flexible pavements to include removal and replacement of surface course, base course and sub course along curb. Removing and replacing existing concrete pavements. Provide milling operations and overlay pavements, provide slurry seat coat to include surface preparations, including crack sealing. Providing drainage structures, including concrete inlets, and RCP and PVC drainpipes. In accordance with FAR Part 36.204, the magnitude of this requirement on terms of physical characteristics and estimated range is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System code is 237310 with the size standard being $28.5 million. The period of performance period for this requirement will be one basic year with 2 option periods. This is a competitive best-value solicitation in which competing offerors’ past and present performance history and technical are more important than price. This procurement is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR CERTIFIED HUB Zone CONTRACTORS. This solicitation and specifications will be distributed solely on the World Wide Web at the following address beginning on or after 25 May 2005: http://www.eps.gov. Prospective offerors will be asked to register for this solicitation at the above referenced web site. All prospective offerors are responsible to visit the FedBizzOpps web site frequently and obtain any amendments or other information pertinent to this RFP. Also, each prospective offeror interested in submitting a proposal on this RFP must register by e-mail to: steven.hawkinsII@bolling.af.mil or theresa.clark@bolling.af.mil in order to be placed on the source list. Include company name, address, telephone/fax numbers point-of-contact and e-mail address. Offerors registering on the source list shall not conclude that they will receive a paper copy of the RFP, as no paper copies will be issued. Closing date of this solicitation will be 27 June 2005.
