Description

Project consists of the construction of two new water control structures on a waterfowl production area. The work includes dewatering the work area, maintaining water flow and erosion control during construction, construction of a temporary access road, removal of the existing structures and construction of new control structures including excavation and backfill, grading, installation of steel sheet piling, concrete, miscellaneous steel, stoplogs, and reinforced concrete pipe. Work also includes excavation of a channel upstream and downstream of one of the control structures. The estimated magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. This procurement is issued unrestricted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656, and is NOT set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a size standard of $28.5 million.
