- Description
- Supply and install two (2) marine satellite communication systems with 512K/128K duplexed service. The system to be provided shall be brand name or equal the Stratostek 4003 or Sea Tel 4003 V-Sat system. Delivery destination for equipment is Tuscal oosa, Alabama. It is anticipated that a fixed-price contract will be awarded based on best value procedures. Source selection criteria will be included in the solicitation; therefore, data other than price will be required. Responses without required data submission will be considered non responsive. This procurement is an unrestricted procurement. The NAICS is 334220; the size standard for which is 750 employees. The solicitation will only be issued as a direct download at the following website: http://www.sam.usace.army.mil and will be available for download on or about July 28, 2005. The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format, however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Governments best interest. Therefore, it is the offerors responsibil ity to check the website for solicitation posting and any changes to this solicitation. Actual solicitation amendments will be issued either by posting for download to the aforementioned web site or fax. Interested offerors, to include subcontractors and Dodge/Plan Rooms, are required to self-register their firm or office at the above website. NO TELEPHONE, FAXED OR MAILED requests will be accepted.
