Description

The item to be procured is a Clutch, Sliding Sleeve for the M242 Gun, NSN: 3010-01-167-8322, P/N 12524083. The Clutch, Sliding Sleeve is an essential part of how the ammunition is to be fed into the M242 automatic gun. It engages with the spur gea r to determine if the ammunition will take the upper or lower feed paths. When engaged the Clutch Sliding Sleeve interacts with multiple shafts and gears and feeds the ammunition into the M242 gun on the chosen upper or lower feed paths. FOB is Destinatio n, proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. Estimated issue date is around 10 August 2005. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided.
