- The New Mexico Veterans Affairs Health Care System (NMVAHCS), 1501 San Pedro Dr SE, Albuquerque, New Mexico, is looking for sources to provide Chaplain Services at this facility. Contractor shall provide backup service to VA Chaplains in providing religious and spiritual ministry to patients. Approximately 2,000 hours/year; this number of hours is estimated and not guaranteed. This procurement will be set aside for small business. The contract period for this commercial service acquisition will be for one year, designated as the base period, with four (4) one (1) year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. Proposals to provide these services shall be submitted on an 'all or none' basis. The NAICS code: 813110. The Standard size is: $6 mil. Although no solicitation document is available at this time, concerns responding to this notice may request a copy of the solicitation should one become available. Telephone requests will not be accepted. This is not a request for proposals and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Funds may or may not become available to procure these services. Any Contractor that believes it can meet the requirements may provide written notification to the Contracting Officer (faxes and telephones calls will NOT be accepted) by August 5, 2005 by submitting IN WRITING ONLY to Bryan S. Rogers at: bryan.rogers2@med.va.gov Supporting evidence (eg., ecclesiastical endorsement of the national endorsing agency; other documents demonstrating competency and experience) shall be furnished to demonstrate the ability to provide these services on a contractual basis.
