- Description
- The work consists of replacing two existing approx. 4? dia. culverts with one 10?-6? span, 5?-7? rise, aluminum box culvert with headwalls and wingwalls. Work elements include furnishing equipment, labor, and materials associated with removal and installation of culverts, constructing temporary detour, installing riprap, concrete footings, aggregate base, reconstructing existing road and associated appurtenances and related work. Sources for riprap, and excess excavation are designated. Sources for aggregate base are not designated. The project road, Forest Road #106, is a recreation road on the Fishlake National Forest which provides access to the Adelaide Campground and the Pahvant Range. The project road may be closed while a detour is constructed. The road is to remain open at all other times. Except for approved road closures keep road open to traffic during contract operations. Traffic delays shall not exceed 30 minutes. The project is located on the Fishlake National Forest east of Kanosh, Utah in Millard County. Site Visit: The site visit is scheduled for August 23 at 10:00. Meet at the Fillmore Ranger District Office, 390 S. Main, Fillmore, Utah and travel to the jobsite after a brief meeting.
