- NSN: 5930-01-214-2650. SWITCH, THERMOSTATIC. Critical Application Item. Proposed acquisition is not set aside for small business concerns and ?other than full and open competition? applies to this item, i.e. cited Source Control Drawing lists two approved manufacturing sources in accordance with U.S. Army Tank Automotive Command, cage code (19207) drawing number 12336795. Approved sources are ITT Industries, cage code (98087), part number 1173T0307-03 and Custom Control Sensors, cage code (09049), part number 150T385-2. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government procurement agency. The total shall not exceed 3 years, i.e. an Indefinite Quantity Contract with an initial one year contract and two option periods of one year. Contract minimum and maximum quantities are as per solicitation and the estimated annual demand is approximately 144 each. Copies of this solicitation are available on the DSCC website, after the issue date, http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/RFP. Hard copies are not available. All responsible vendors may submit a responsive proposal, which shall be evaluated. Price may be a significant factor in evaluation of offers; the final award decision shall be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
