- Question: Will the initial use of the contract deliverable items be in New Mexico? Request determination if the New Mexico Gross Receipts Tax (NMGRT) will be applicable to the proposed effort? Answer: Yes, the initial use of the reports will be here in New Mexico. New Mexico gross receipts tax is applicable if the contractor has both a presence in the state of New Mexico and the work is being performed in the state of New Mexico. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (29-DEC-2004).
