- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: THIS PROJECT IS SET ASIDE FOR CERTIFIED SMALL BUSINESS HUBZONE CONTRACTORS: The project work site is the U.S. Coast Guard Communication Station Miami, 16001 SW 117 Avenue, Miami-Dade County, FL. Work consists of removing the existing Halon Agent fire suppression system and furnishing and installing a new multi-zone clean fire suppression agent (NEPA 2001 compliant and non ozone depleting) system and controls compatible with existing Siemens Control Panel in the Transmitter Station #1: communication rooms, generator room, Transmitter Station #2 and the Comm Station Generator Storage Building. Installation of a communications cable to the main control panel is required at the Comm Station Generator Storage Building (this building interior walls are covered in lead based paint). At Transmitter Station #3 remove Inergen-agent control panel and install new Inergen agent control panel/interface compatible with existing Siemens Control Panel. Abate five square feet of asbestos tile/mastic under existing Halon agent tanks in Transmitter Bldg #1. BID OPENING DATE IS SEPTEMBER 7, 2005, 2:00 PM. The estimated price range of the complete project is between $100,000.00 - $250,000.00. Performance time is 90 calendar days. The NAICS code is 238210, with a size standard of $12.0 million.
