- Washington Headquarters Services Acquisition and Procurement Office issues this combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services. This is a proposed action for medical services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source ? Comprehensive Health Services, Incorporated, under authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) All terms and conditions are in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 15. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This Solicitation HQ003405R0030 is for provision of medical facilities, medical examinations, physical fitness testing and conditioning programs for the Pentagon Force Protection Agency law enforcement personnel for a period of one year.The medical examination facility must be located within 10 miles of the Pentagon Reservation, since the majority of the law enforcement candidates to be served by the facility work in or near the Pentagon. The physical fitness tests must be given at the Pentagon Athletic Facility. All physicians and certified physical fitness personnel must have a minimum of 3 years experience in occupational medicine and fitness training for law enforcement and have appropriate professional certifications required by the State of Virginia. Contractor must be capable of handling surges in numbers of personnel to be examined, tested, and enrolled in physical conditioning programs. Contractor must be capable of providing additional facilities for medical and physical fitness examinations throughout the US to accommodate law enforcement candidates from locations in other parts of the US.THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
