- Second Floor Alterations, U.S. Courthouse, 401 North Market, Wichita, KS. PCN RKS25380. RFP o/a 7/11/2005. Estimated Cost Range $250,000 - $500,000. Time for Completion ? 150 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Project involves, but is not limited to: selective demolition, building demolition, lawns and grasses, concrete floor topping, unit masonry assemblies, cold-formed metal framing, metal fabrications, miscellaneous carpentry, interior architectural woodwork, joint sealants, steel doors and frames, flush wood doors, access doors and frames, detention doors and frames, door hardware, detention door hardware, security glazing, gypsum veneer plaster, gypsum board assemblies, terrazzo flooring, resinous matrix terrazzo flooring, acoustical panel ceilings, security ceiling systems, resilient wall base and accessories, carpet, interior painting, wood stains and transparent finishes, toilet compartments, security screens, detention toilet accessories, detention enclosures, detention furnishings, duct insulation, plumbing fixtures, terminal heat transfer units, centrifugal fans, mechanical testing, adjusting and balancing, grounding and bonding, building wire and cable, conduit, electrical boxes, enclosed circuit breakers, enclosed contactors, panelboards and interior luminaries. Work to be completed during non-duty and weekend hours for this building which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This procurement is set aside for small business. The applicable NAICS code is 236220, size standard $28.5 million. The solicitation will be available through the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) website (fedteds.gov). FedTeDS is a secure website designed to safeguard sensitive but unclassified (SBU) acquisition information. It is fully integrated with other electronic government initiatives such as FedBizOpps and the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, and is available for use by all Federal agencies. At a minimum all vendors must supply the following information: your company?s Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN) (you can obtain this from your company?s CCR Point of Contact), your company DUNS number or CAGE Code (Contact Dun & Bradstreet at 1-800-333-0505 if you do not have a D&B number), your telephone number, and your e:mail address. Once you have registered with CCR you will be required to register with FedTeDS. No Federal material can be downloaded until you have registered under both sites. You may access FedTeDS via the following address: www.fedteds.gov. You will then be required to access the vendor registration form by selecting the hyperlink entitled REGISTER WITH FEDTEDS and then choosing the VENDOR REGISTRATION FORM hyperlink. It is the vendor?s responsibility to monitor FedBizOpps for any changes and/or conditions. The use of the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) is required in Federal solicitations as part of the bid submission process, thereby eliminating the need to submit a paper copy with each offer.
