- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive (sole source) basis with The Boeing Company, McDonnell Douglas Corporation; for the T-45 Program. The Navy requires I-level support capability for the CASS Operational Test Program Sets (OTPS) which include: (1.) Qty 2 each, OTPS 1 DA132M0902-501 consisting of part numbers: D0010001-2003, D0010001-2503, D0010001-6503, D0010001-2103, D0010001-2303. (2.) Qty 2 each OTPS 2 DA132M0903-501 consisting of part numbers: D0010002-2003, D0010002-2503, D0010002-6503, D0010002-2103, D0010002-2303. (3.) Qty 2 each OTPS 3 DA132M0904-501 consisting of part numbers: D0010003-2003, D0010003-2503, D0010003-6505. (4.) Qty 2 each OTPS 4 DA132M0932-501 consisting of part numbers: D0010022-2003, D0010022-2503. Boeing is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the T45 aircraft and is the only firm with the knowledge, experience and proprietary data required to fulfill the requirements for the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) services for the T-45 aircraft. The Government intends to procure the above item under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition.
