Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number GDQ051073 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-04. This is a total small business set-aside under NAICS 441229 with an associated small business size standard of 500 employees. Contract Line Item Number 0001: Talbert Model T3DW-50SA-HRG-1-T1 or equivalent; 50-ton rated double drop deck equipment trailer; non-ground bearing detachable gooseneck with front fenders; swing clearance minimum of 96 inches; king pin set 12 to 20 inches back from the front; self-contained hydraulic system with Honda or equivalent gasoline engine; fold up front ramps; 102-inch deck width; frame construction minimum 100,000 psi steel; air ride suspension; ABS; brakes rated for maximum GVWR at 55 mph; spring parking breaks on one axle; 25,000 lbs minimum axle rating; load bearing rear wheel covers; 22 feet drop deck length; 28-32 inches loaded deck height; 10-inch minimum loaded ground clearance; Operator's and parts manual. NOTICE: A preferable alternative eto wood decking is rubber composite decking manufactured by Rumber. The product is made from recycled rubber, plastic, and wood that lasts longer than ordinary wood decking, therefore lowering the life cycle cost. This is an effort to promote and support recycling. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial applies to this acquisition. By the provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, technical capability of equipment to meet the described government need, and price will be evaluated equally. As of January 1, 2005, contractors are no longer required to submit a paper copy of certifications and representations; however, an online application must be completed by accessing http://orca.bpn.gov. Offeror must have an active Central Contractor Registration profile in http://www.ccr.gov. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items applies. No addenda are attached. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
