- The Government wishes to purchase 5ea Panasonic Toughbook 18 - passive Finger-Touch Screen with External USB Floppy Disk Drive, part number CF-VFDU03W; Additional Lithium Ion Main Battery Pack, part number CF-VZSU30U; Mobile Data Wireless Display, part number CF-VDW07HMS; Integrated Global Positioning Statellite (GPS) Receiver, part number CF18-GPS; Microsoft Office 2003 Professional, part number 269-06738; Backlit Keyboard, part number CF18-BKB; 256MB Memory Card for a total of 512MB SDRAM, part nu mber CF18-WMBA30256; Integrated Bluetooth Wireless Technology, part number CF18-BT; External USB DVD/CDRW Combo Drive, part number CF-VDRRT3W; Vehicle Power Adapter/Charger, part number CF18-VAC. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation services as the Request for Quotation. Provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to OfferorsCommercial Items and FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items ap ply to this acquisition. Best Value to the Government will be used to evaluate offers. This includes, but is not limited to, the best price when considering the merits of all offers. Offers need to include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Of feror Representation and Certification-Commercial Items with their offer. Offers must also be registered in the Central Contractor Registration and should include their DUNS number, Cage Code and Federal Tax ID number. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Term s and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Offers are due by 1700 on 27 July 2005.
