Description
COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEM(S). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. IMPORTANT NOTICE: FAR 52.232-33 (Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer?Central contractor Registration- (Oct 2003) and DFAR 252.204-7004 Alt A Required Central Contractor Registration (Nov 2003) require registration in the CCR database. CONTRACTORS MAY REGISTER ON-LINE AT http://www.ccr.gov/ IT?S MANDATORY TO OBTAIN A DUNS NUMBER PRIOR TO REGISTERING. CALL DUN & BRADSTREET (1-800-333-0505) TO OBTAIN. AWARD CANNOT BE MADE UNLESS REGISTERED. Solicitation NO. FA2521-05-T-0271 is issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect thru Federal Acquisition circular 2005-4 and thru Defense Acquisition Regulation Supplement DCN 20050621. NO AWARD WILL BE MADE UNLESS FUNDING BEGOMES AVAILABLE. 45 CONS/LGCBB has an unfunded requirement for two 225 HP 4 stroke saltwater boat motors with 4 blade stainless steel prop with extended warranty. The first Motor must include installation of the motor and all equipment and controllers to install on a 19 foot Boston Whaler. The shaft on the Boston Whaler is 25?. The second Motor will be used as a back up engine for all the boats. This product will be delivered to Patrick AFB, FL. The expected delivery date is 30 days after receipt of an order. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 5551, business size of 500 employees and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 441222. The government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). GSA Schedule holders for this item/service are encouraged to provide us with their GSA Schedule number. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration (Oct 2003) is hereby included by reference. FAR 52.212-1 ( Jan 2005 ) Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items is hereby included by reference. FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Oct 2003) are hereby included by reference. FAR 52.212-5 Contact Terms and Conditions-Required to Implement (Apr 2005) is hereby applies to this acquisition. IAW DFAR 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial items (Jan 2005) hereby applies to this acquisition. In accordance with DFAR 252.212-7001 the following clauses are incorporated by reference: DFAR 252.225-7001 Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program (Apr 2003), DFAR 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Request (Jan 2004), DFAR 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Request (Jan 2004) is hereby included by reference. AFFAR 5352.223-9000 Elimination of Use of Class I Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS) (May 1996) is hereby included by reference. FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Mar 2005) shall be completed and submitted with the quotation. FAR 52.232-18 Availability of Funds Apr 84) is included by reference. Invoice and Receiving Reports will be processed in the Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) database https://wawf.eb.mil. The full text of the FAR and DFARS can be accessed on the Internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. Parties responding to this solicitation may submit their offer in accordance with their standard commercial practices but must include the following information: Company?s complete mailing and remittance address, discounts for prompt payment, if any (e.g. 1% 10 days), the company?s CAGE Code, Dun & Bradstreet number, and Taxpayer ID number. For Warranty purposes, please furnish the following information ?The warranty extends for a period of _______days or ( ) hours or ______years from ( ) date of shipment, ( ) date of installation. The government will award a contract resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms with the solicitation that will be most advantageous to the government.
