- Description
- St. Joe Ranger District, Shoshone County, Idaho. Project is for the repair or replacement of 7 treated timber snow sheds located at the entrances of Tunnels 21, 23, 25, 27, and 28 and repair of the Clear Creek Trestle curb on the Route of the Hiawatha Trail (old Milwaukee Railroad grade). Work includes but is not limited to removal, disposal and salvaging treated timber columns, beams and roof members, structural excavation, concrete placement, furnishing and erecting glued laminated columns, beams and roof panels, and all other incidental items necessary to complete the project in accordance with the plans and specifications. Government estimated between $100,000 and $250,000. Estimated start work of September 1, 2005 with alternative completion dates of November 30, 2006 and November 15, 2007, depending upon accepted proposal. A site visit is scheduled for August 3, 2005.
