Description

The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS), intends to negotiate solely with Aqua Green Trout Farm for the continuation of services for rearing and maintenance of Government Furnished Trout Brood Stock Fish for a base period of 12 months, plus (1) 12-month option period in support of the continued studies, research and data collection efforts for the National Center for Cool and Cold Water Aquaculture, Kearneysville, WV. The facility, in close proximity for continued studies and data collection on the experimental fish groupings, has prior and extensive fish rearing experience required to assure consistency in data collection information. The facility has the capacity to maintain up to 3000 pounds of fish in extensive secured tanks that have back up emergency life support systems. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation is available. Responsible interested parties may submit written information to substantiate demonstrated capability and financial capacity within 5 days of publication of this notice. The NAICS Code is 11251 with a size standard of $.75M. This is a total small business set-aside.
