- Solicitation number SP0406-05-R-2156, RE050330090000, NSN 8120-01-444-1606, for Cylinder, Compressed Gas, Empty, Argon, Technical. Solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside, full and open competition after exclusion of sources and will result in a Fixed Price/Economic Price Adjustment Indefinite Quantity Contract for a base year with four one-year option periods. This NSN is procured as fully competitive in accordance with military/federal specifications/standards and/or voluntary industry standards. Direct access to defense and federal specifications, standards, and related standardization documents is available on the Internet via http://assist.daps.mil or http://www.dodssp.daps.mil. Spec NR RR-C-901D applies. This NSN has Qualified Products Lists (QPL) requirements. Qualification must be in accordance with the cited specifications/standards. QPL applies for purchase of valve. Valve per Mil Spec MIL-DTL-2F, MIL-DTL-2/11D, Type V11-580-5. Outlet plug & chain not required. 3/15/05 "Exception" to MIL-DTL-2/11, to use Sherwood Valve, P/N GV58061-35. Stock lines only to SRU, Richmond, VA. Estimated annual demand quantity is 165 EA base year, 132 EA (option years); guaranteed minimum quantity is 33 EA (base year only). FOB Destination with Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. Delivery 32 DARO. QAP 002 applies. Automated Best Value System (ABVS) applies; the final contract award decision may be based on a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued on 21 April 2005, with a closing date of 20 May 2005.
