********OPEN TO U.S. POSTAL SERVICE PREQUALIFIED CONTRACTORS ONLY********** U.S. Postal Service is requesting bids for miscellaneous repair to the Courtroom Area located in the Main Post Office in Newark, New Jersey. Contractor is to provide all material, labor, services, equipment, permits, licensing and other items necessary to complete this project. Work includes, but not limited to, historic ceiling restoration, bird control and other repairs due to roof leaks. Further information may be found in the technical specifications. Estimated cost: $1,250,000 - $1.500,000. Pre-Proposal Meeting will be held on site at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 5, 2005 (attendance is strongly suggested). Solicitation packages may be purchased after September 25, 2005 from Tech-Repro, 65 Zabriskie Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601, (201) 489-1333. It is prohibited to pay any fee, commission, percentage or brokerage fee to any person or firm contingent upon or resulting from the award of a contract for this project. PERSONAL VISITS AND PHONE CALLS for the purpose of discussing this projects are not permitted. Offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received, the identity of offers received, the amount of any offer or relative standing of the offers will not be disclosed to ANYONE until time of contract award.
