Description

8. DESCRIPTION: The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center,Puget Sound is soliciting for a firm fixed price supply type contract to be negotiated on sole source basis with Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Technologies, Rexburg, ID for AMET welding system. This welding system will allow all existing components to be interfaced into an automated welding system. The welding system consists of an XMC Control (includes power supply control module), XM sensor and fault control box, XM Rotation motion module, XM amplifier module, Servo Motor, flash card for program storage, XM Arc voltage Control w/cable, XM wire feed module & 4 roll drive assembly, wire guide positioner, wire feed kit, SM slide w/control module, cable carrier, XM control & weld gear skid, system mounting brackets, XMT 456, 230/460-60, WP-27B torch, Accessory kit, AMET high frequency arc starter, TIG torch, weld cable and required hoses (400 amp and on-site training in support of Naval Intermediate Facility Silverdale, WA 98315. Delivery date shall be 90 days after date of contract. The commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 05 April 2005 with a closing date of 19 April 2005. Proposed contract to be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13.5.
