- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Division intends to acquire on a sole source basis Cisco Systems in support of the U.S. Joint Forces Command Joint Deployment Center (USJFCOM JDC). Delivery shall be made to USJFCOM located on 1428 Blandy Road, Bldg. NH-35, Norfolk, VA 23551. A firm-fixed price purchase order is contemplated. This requirement will be processed in accordance with FAR Part 13, as supplemented by FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS code is 334111 and the Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees. This is a sole source action for Cisco Systems equipment. The FISC Norfolk Contract Department Philadelphia Division requests quotations from Cisco Systems and their authorized suppliers for providing the items in the following list in the specified quantities. The subject requirement is sole source to Cisco Systems because Cisco products are the only equipment compatible with the existing JDC architecture. A determination not to compete among manufacturers intending to provide other than Cisco Systems equipment identified herein based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses indicating that a vendor wishes to provide other than Cisco Systems equipment listed will normally be considered solely of determining whether to conduct a full and open competitive procurement. The Cisco Systems equipment that is intended to be acquired for USJFCOM JDC is as follows: CLIN 0001: Cisco Systems Part Number WS-C3750-48TS-S (Catalyst 3750 48 10/100 + 4 SFP Standard multilayer Image), Quantity: 4; CLIN 0002: Cisco Systems Part Number CAB-STACK-50CM= (Cisco StackWise 50CM Stacking Cable), Quantity: 4; CLIN 0003: Cisco Systems Part Number GLC-SX-MM= (GE SFP, LC Connector SX transceiver), Quantity: 8; CLIN 0004: Cisco Systems Part Number CSS5-CABSX-LCSC= (CSS11500 10-Meter Fiber Multimode SX LC to SC Connectors), Quantity: 8; CLIN 0005: Cisco Systems Part Number CAB-AC (Power Cord 110V), Quantity: 4; CLIN 0006: Cisco Systems Part Number WS-G5484 (1000BASE-SX Short Wavelength GBIC ? multimode only), Quantity: 8; CLIN 0007: Cisco Systems Part Number CON-SNT-375048TS (SMARTNET 8x5xNBD Cat 3750 48 SFP Stdrd Multilayer Image), Quantity: 4. Deliver is required on an FOB Destination basis to USJFCOM located on 1428 Blandy Road, Bldg. NH-35, Norfolk, VA 23551 within 30 days of purchase order issuance. Electronic quotes submitted via FEBIZOPPS will not be accepted. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered by the agency. All quotes shall include pricing, a point-of-contact, name and phone number. The Government intends to issue a single purchase order, for all items listed herein, resulting from responses to this synopsis. Quoters must be registered in the Central Contractor Database (CCR) to be considered for purchase order issuance. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://www.ccr.gov/.
