- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement to procure an Electric Drive Control Electronics (EDCE) Chassis and spare circuit cards for the Large Scale Vehicle 2 (LSV2) Motor System. The period of performance will be for a total of six months. This is a sole source action to be awarded as a new Firm Fixed Price type contract to General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), 100 Plastics Avenue, Pittsfield, MA 01201. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 ? Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The sole source is based upon extensive technical knowledge and proprietary rights to software to be used during performance of the contract.
