Description
CONTACT Paul Herink, Production Engineer, (732) 532-0216. PLEASE NOTE CHANGE IN RESPOND BY DATE. This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for spares for Engine, Diesel and Starter, Engine, Electrical. We are buying range quantities for 5- years varying from 1300 for each year for the Engine, Diesel and from 1-200 each year for the Starter, Engine, Electrical. They are as follows: NSN 2815-01-486-7691, P/N 96-9370, CAGE 62502, P/N MP-028, CAGE 0FHH9; and NSN 2920-01-530-0444, P/N 96-9354, C AGE 62502 and P/N MP-032, CAGE 0FHH9. There are current sources for this item. The parts are used in the 5 KW, 28 VDC Auxiliary Power Unit, MEP-952B. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of these units is not available from the Arm y. Suppliers capable of furnishing and repairing these units must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-G-GN, Building 1200W, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5023. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of p urchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with a unit from the suppliers listed above. The response should also include production lead t imes, number of years part will be available, price break ranges if applicable, part number & CAGE of proposed parts, or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supply, and delivery of the parts. The Government will also consider parts fr om other sources that have the same form, fit, and function as the required parts. Alternate parts would have to pass extensive performance and qualification testing to ensure that the parts meet the Militarys requirements, the cost of which would be cons idered in the acquisition decision. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. For more information contact Paul Herink, (732)532-0216. The deadline for response is Aug 3, 2005. EMAIL ADDRESS: paul.herink@mail1.monmouth.army.mil
