Description

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTIFICATION: Desc: NSN: 1240-01-251-6050, P/N 9376570. NOTE: This Cell Assembly contains SK7 glass (Schott designation), which is obsolete and there are no equivalents or substitutions allowed. The item to procure is a Cell, Assembly Optical. The Cell, Assembly Optica l P/N 9376570, consists of four-eyepiece lens in two lens cells made of aluminum alloy 6061-T6. Lens material is an optical glass per MIL-G-174 GR B. The approximate size of this part is 2.760 in diameter x 2.438 in long is C/O Cell, Lens - Part Number (P/ R:)12279254; Lens - P/N: 12279256; Spacer Lens  P/N: 12279255; Lens Eyepiece  P/N: 12279232; Lens Eyepiece  P/N: 12279231; Lens Eyepiece  P/N: 12279230; Spacer Lens  P/N: 12279251; Lens, Eyepiece  P/N: 12279229; Retainer Lens  P/N: 9376571. FOB dest ination. For, use on the Abrams Tank, M1A1. Estimated issue date is 30 April 2005. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102 (a) (7) and 14.205-1 (c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided.
