Description

The Federal Correctional Institution, Waseca, Minnesota will be issuing a solicitation for installing 3" bituminous pavement for the walking track and interconnecting fire road. The track is currently a 12' wide gravel track. The contractor will pave with a 9' x 3" asphalt surface. The perimeter of the track is 2146' 8". The period of performance will be 60 days. The anticipated award date is 8/24/05. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be available on or after July 25, 2005 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
