- This contract is to acquire film-based vertical and/or oblique aerial photography or digital imagery in support of the Regional Office, National Forests or Grasslands management and strategic planning initiatives. The aerial photography services are within the boundaries of the Intermountain Region and include all of Utah, Nevada, Western Wyoming and Southern Idaho. These purposes include but are not limited to: Ecosystem assessment and health, interpretation of natural vegetation system, monitoring human effect on the environment, imagery interpretation of post-forest fire burned areas, Riparian study areas, analytical aerotriangulation, large-scale and small-scale site specific topographic mapping, orthophotography. Each project has unique parameters and requires the acquisition of conventional aerial photography or digital imagery based upon these parameters. Projects will vary from single strip aerial photography to multi-strip blocks and will range from 1:2,400-scale to 1:24,000-scale photography. This contract will be awarded as a firm fixed price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity, commercial item contract using FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items and will use simplified acquisition procedures. Multiple awards may be considered. The performance period for this contract is one year from the date of award with four option years. The Request for Quote will be posted on or before July 1, 2005. Anticipated award date is on or about July 18, 2005. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency.
