- POD INFRARED applicable to the MQM107E Target Drone Solicitation FA8520-05-R-40100. Anticipated solicitation issue date will be 7 Mar 2005 and anticipated response date will be 30 days thereafter, e.g. 6 Apr 2005. For additional information contact William H. National Stock Number (NSN): Item 0001 NSN 1560-01-360-5867GX P/N: 007-0100-9; dimensions: approximately 63.7” long by 5” diameter; Material: aluminum and stainless steel. Function: Presentsan infrared signature to attact heat seeking missiles. Applicable to: MQM-107E Target Drone. Basic Quantity 167 each; three outyear options of 1-75 units per year. Sols source to Meggitt Defense Systems Inc., Tustin CA (Cage 62228). Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1)., “Supplies (or services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements” applies. Quantities or options will be as set forth above or as listed in the solicitation. Unit of issue is each. Destination is unknown and will be furnished at a later date. Delivery schedule is anticipated to be July 2005 or as specified in the solicitation. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. The anticipated award date is 15 Oct 2004.
