- Description
- This is a solicitation notice for Military Family Housing Maintenance at Andrews Air Force Base MD and Summerfield Complex, Landover Maryland. Solicitation number FA4416-05-R-0010. The subject acquisition is for the maintenance of approximately 2,348 family housing units, including equipment, appliances, garages, fences and playground equipment. Major categories of work include interior and exterior maintenance, painting, and floor repair/replacement. This acquisition will be solicited utilizing FAR Part 15 negotiated procedures. A firm-fixed price Requirements type contract will result from this solicitation. The performance period will be for a base year with an anticipated start date of 01 Oct 2005, and 4 one-year option periods. The successful offeror will be bound to the terms of a Collective Bargaining Agreement. This acquisition is RESTRICTED to 8(a) firms with an applicable North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) of 561210 and is a current 8(a) participant in good standing, serviced by an SBA office. NOTE: A copy of the firm's certification letter from the SBA MUST accompany proposal. This SBA requirement number is 7700-05-503216. The small business size standard is $30 million. Recent and relevant past performance will be evaluated. The solicitation will be issued on or about 04 Jun 05. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be stated in the solicitation package. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) website at http://www.eps.gov. No paper copies will be issued. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. To be eligible for contract award, a firm MUST be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
