- Description
- The United States Government seeks expression of interest from owners and authorized agents of existing commercial office and related space (space must be contiguous, street level is required). The Government presently occupies 25,981 rentable square feet which yields 23,605 ANSI/BOMA Office Area usable square feet along with 58 parking spaces in Urbandale, IA. The Government will consider relocation if economically advantageous. The Government will consider agency mission requirements, the cost of moving, alterations, etc. when deciding whether it should relocate. The space shall include a roll-up door that is fourteen (14) feet tall; the interior space shall have a clear height of not less than fourteen (14) feet and shall be column free. AMOUNT: The Government desires to lease 25,981 rentable square feet which must yield 23,605 ANSI/BOMA Office Area usable square feet available for use by the agency for personnel, furnishings and equipment. DELINEATED AREA: City Limits of Urbandale. REQUIRED: All services, supplies and utilities are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. TERM: The proposed lease shall be for five (5) years with the Government having a 60 day cancellation right in full or in part after year three. Occupancy is required January 1, 2006.
