- Description
- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Charleston, intends to negotiate, on a sole-source basis, with Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) Justice and Safety Center (JSC), 245 Stratton Building, 521 Lancaster Avenue, Richmond, KY 40475. The contractor shall provide technical and engineering services to include Research and Development (R&D) for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This work will require extensive expertise on state and local public safety operations and involve R&D of technologies that provide increased capabilities to small/rural public safety agencies. An Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Cost type contract in the estimated amount of $9 million is anticipated. This effort will consist of a base year and two (2) one option years to support urgently requirement needs by the DHS Homeland Security Advanced Research Projects Agency (HSARPA) and the Homeland Security Interagency Working Group (IWG). This notice of intent is NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The applicable NAICS Code is 541990. Note 22 applies to this solicitation. Comments shall be submitted in writing to Ms. Adreina F.
