- SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the procurement of Engineering, Fielding, Inspection and Testing (EFI&T) services for a broad range of telecommunications projects including but not limited to Optical network design and implementation; wireless network design, integration and implementation; tactical communications systems Research and Development (R&D) and deployment; Disaster Recovery solutions, Asynchronous Transmission Mode/Internet Protocol (ATM/IP) network topologies and migrations strategies, network infrastructure support and Type I and II as well as Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) encryption design and integrations services. These services will be provided to customers of the Joint Warfighter Support Division (JWSD) based in the Fort Bragg, NC area. The Government is setting this procurement aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business program. A one-year Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Quantity, Indefinite Delivery type contract is anticipated. The applicable NAICS is 541330 with a size standard of $23million. The anticipated award date of the subject contract is scheduled for 14 October 2005. The estimated release date of the solicitation will be on or about 14 August 2005 on the SPAWAR e- commerce website at http://E-Commerce.spawar.navy.mil . It is the responsibility of the interested parties to independently review this web page frequently for updates to any and all documents.
