- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to make a sole source purchase for 20kW Diesel Generator, sound attenuated box, muffler, and radiator from Alaska Diesel Electric, 4420 14th Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98107. This is the only known item that can meet the Government?s minimum requirements as follows: operates on diesel fuel; minimum 20 kW output at 125 degree F ambient; dry exhaust; physical size of 42 inches x 18 inches x 30 inches; remote mount radiator location; MILSPEC electrica! l connectors and construction; and MILSPEC documentation. This item will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. The closing date is 22 July 2005 with an anticipated award date of 25 July 2005. All items are to be priced FOB Destination. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. DOD will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database. Registration can be completed by accessing the CCR Web Site at http://www.ccr.gov.
